Space Invaders completed our loft conversion recently and did a fantastic job. My wife and I were really pleased with the result and in particular the friendliness of the staff. Steve Wiseman was very helpful in his project management and Josh, Mikey, and Neil were superb they couldn't do enough for us. If you need a loft conversion this firm is a well oiled machine.

We absolutely love our loft conversion and cannot recommend the Space Invaders team highly enough!From the very first phone call enquiring about a quote to the final day on site we have been impressed by them.The team listen to what you want to do with your space, make their recommendations and offer help, support and advice every step of the way. Every single trade was an absolute pleasure to deal with. From the first guys on site building the new structure to the plumbers, roofers, electricians, plasters, literally everyone that came to our house was not only an expert in their field but friendly, respectful, great fun and all put up with our most annoying dogs!! Space Invaders completed our loft conversion in 2017 to our complete satisfaction. Unfortunately we have recently experienced issues with our loft en-suite toilet. Despite the length of time since installation, we called Greig at Space Invaders who quickly took ownership of the situation and organised his plumbing team to sort out the immediate problem. He has subsequently arranged a full internal inspection and cleaning of the waste piping and implemented changes to its layout (mostly at Space Invader’s expense). Space Invaders approach to aftercare has been fantastic; they have really gone above and beyond.

When we chose Space Invaders to convert our garage into two different spaces, we knew all the work completed would be of the highest quality, and this proved to be correct. All the tradesman have been excellent and on top of their work We must especially mention Shaun who was very hard working in setting up the project and Justin and Sunny who worked hard with the plastering and insulation side of things. As we said, everyone else were very good and it was a pleasure to have them here and keep them going with drinks. It was also good to have Steve Wiseman keeping a close eye on the project and who was available to sort out any queries we had. The Space Invaders work is now completed and we are so pleased with how we wanted it to be. Huge thanks to everyone.Ian and Sue Fleckney

Greig, Steve and the team were amazing. They really listened to what we wanted and provided excellent design advice. I like the way their design was flexible, unlike most loft conversion companies which seem to offer off-the-peg inflexible design options. Nice guys to have around the house too - my son particularly enjoyed their visits! Have recommended to many friends, all of whom have been equally impressed

From the initial consultation through to completion they were professional, knowledgable, friendly and reliable. Space Invaders have recently completed a loft conversion at our home and we couldn’t be more delighted.From the outset Greig’s passion and vision for his projects really stood out. Although he is one of the owners of the company he was involved at every stage. He worked with us to fully understand what we were hoping to achieve, making suggestions and adaptations to ensure the final result was everything we had hoped for. His input and creativity was invaluable.Every member of the team on site, the builders, carpenters, plumbers, electricians, roofers and plasterers were highly skilled, professional and courteous. They were a pleasure to deal with.Joe who was responsible for dealing with the contracts, finances and planning was so helpful. He dealt with any queries promptly and efficiently, nothing was too much trouble.The pricing for the project was transparent and surprisingly competitive, coming in significantly lower than other quotes received. Space Invaders converted the loft of our Victorian semi-detached house. The whole process, from Greig's initial visit through to completion, was fantastic. The quality of the workmanship is superb and everyone was courteous and professional throughout.Space Invaders were recommended to us by our previous neighbours and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them highly to anyone considering a loft conversion.

We used Space invaders to convert our loft earlier this year. Greig came and did the initial quote and we were impressed with his ideas and passion for the company. The pricing was also very competitive. The work has been carried out to a high standard and has made a huge difference to our home.I’d particularly like to mention Steve and Fran who built the shell as well as the roofers Paul and his son Lou. All the staff were great to deal with but these guys were really friendly and did a brilliant job.Space invaders were recommended to me by a friend who had a loft conversion completed by them a number of years ago. I’d have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

I cannot recommend Space Invaders highly enough.Getting your loft converted is a serious commitment (both from a financially view point alongside the disruption to your daily lives) and we wanted a company that seemed both engaged and considerate. I can confidently say that they surpassed my expectations and my hopes of what the space would become.From the start they were more engaged that most (response times etc). It did occur to me they were just trying to win my business but this attentiveness carried through until the scaffold came down and everything was cleared away.From the moment they came to quote they were clearly more creative than the other companies I engaged with. Demonstrating their depth of experience and interest in making this something I wanted (and not a 'cookie cutter' design).All teams were considerate and courteous - which I hadn't realised would be so important until I discovered they are in your house for weeks on end. They were always communicative and professional and certainly tolerated my fairly endless questions.I cannot sing their praises or recommend them highly enough. I know people who swear they won't go through the process again but I live in hope my next home has an unused loft that is prime for development - if that's the case Space Invaders will be my first phone call.

Space Invaders have just completed our loft conversion. We now have an amazing space which fits seamlessly into the existing first floor layout. The build was very efficient and all trades were friendly, professional and have carried out a high standard of work. The disruption to the rest of the house during the build was kept to a minimum and the finalising of getting the job signed off and finished was painless. We would definitely recommend Space Invaders.

We have been impressed with Space Invaders from start to finish. From the outset, they were completely transparent with their pricing and worked with us to find alternative options to suit our particular budget. We have just had our loft converted into a master bedroom & ensuite, which we couldn't be more pleased with. Every tradesman along the way has been incredibly professional, friendly and competent; we cannot fault any of them. Huge thanks in particular to Steve and Joe for dealing with our extremely challenging neigbour. You have gone above and beyond what should be expected of you, for which we are incredibly grateful. As and when we can afford it, we wouldn't hesitate to contact Space Invaders again to extend our ground floor living space. Many thanks to the entire team!

Space Invaders just completed a loft conversion 2 bedrooms and a shower room. The space they have made is excellent. They were professional and exceptionally friendly throughout the whole build. I am so happy with my new space and would definitely recommend this company!

So pleased with our recent loft conversion, as others have mentioned the quality of work is very high, but its their professionalism and supportive team that really set them apart. I would happily recommend to others looking to get building work completed.

We chose Space Invaders over the competition for few reasons.1. Many companies outsource the job to a third party, so two neighbours can use the same company but have very different outcomes. Space Invaders assured us that everyone on the build works directly for them and this is what we found. All the guys turned up in Space Invaders vans, wearing Space Invaders gear, and seemed to live and breath the company. The neighbours commented regularly on the professionalism, politeness and helpfulness of everyone on the job.2. From the onset talking to Greg we felt that Space Invaders understood that we did not want a standard box and would accommodate any quirks in the design. Again we were proved right.3. Space Invaders were the only company that proposed multi layer foil insulation over standard board insulation. We have been in loads of hot lofts insulated with board insulation and felt that the foil/mineral wool combination that Space Invaders use would be better than board. Our loft was not an oven this summer, even on the hottest days.I am a DIYer and followed the guys closely throughout the build. Apart from the fact that they put up with me constantly peering over their shoulders (it was lockdown) and my endless questions, they did not appear to cut corners where and when I felt it would have been easy to do so. This must be why months later as I am writing this review, there are no cracks or problems.Needless to say, I wholeheartedly recommend Space Invaders and if I had to do this again would not hesitate to use them again.

We recently used Space invaders to help us create a Bedroom / dressing room and bathroom loft extension from start to finish Space invaders couldn't of been any more helpfully or professional. During this time my wife gave birth and they worked around us so they didn't get in our way. Steve came round and quoted and we received the quote the following day any questions Joe was on hand to answer these quickly. We got 3 quotes from different builders and Space invaders was one of the cheapest quotes we got and I wanted to use them as they have a good reputation and you always see their vans around kings hill.

Ours is a 1928 New Ideal Homesteads bungalow with, as is typical of houses of that age, thin interior walls of brick-on-edge and a roof in a somewhat fragile state. We were a little nervous, therefore, at the prospect of adding a staircase and converting the loft space into a double bedroom, landing and bathroom. We already had obtained planning permission, having used our own architect. We chose Space Invaders on the basis of their being long-established, specialists in exactly the work we wanted and having a string of good reviews. We were not disappointed. Each stage was completed as set out in their schedule of works and, allowing for the fact that we added reroofing to the project, everything was completed in good time and without incident. We are very happy with the result and would recommend Space Invaders to anyone considering a similar undertaking.
